WHAT TO EXPECT DURING TREATMENT
Zayda Yeoh, NP, our expert nurse practitioner, will begin by evaluating your skin type and discussing your skincare goals to determine which type of peel is best suited to your needs.
Your skin will be gently cleansed to remove any makeup, oils, or impurities. Zayda will then prep your skin to ensure the peel is applied evenly and effectively.
Zayda will carefully apply the selected chemical peel solution to your skin, often in layers, to achieve the right level of exfoliation for your treatment goals. You may feel a mild tingling or warmth as the active ingredients begin to work.
The peel is left on for a specific amount of time, depending on your skin type and the strength of the peel. During this time, the solution exfoliates the top layer of your skin to promote renewal.
Once the peel has had enough time to work, Zayda will gently remove or neutralize the solution and cleanse your skin.

Chemical peels use specialized solutions to remove dead skin cells, revealing fresher, healthier skin underneath. Treatment strength varies: light peels require no downtime and may need monthly sessions, medium peels offer visible results after one treatment with minimal downtime, and deep peels provide dramatic, long-lasting results (up to a year or more). Most clients feel only mild tingling during treatment. Before your peel, avoid retinoids and exfoliants for one week and limit sun exposure. Afterward, keep skin moisturized, wear SPF 30+ daily, and avoid picking at peeling skin as it heals over the next few days.
